Holiday inn express & suites trois-rivières: c’est débuté !

Trois-Rivières’s mayor, Yves Lévesque, city representatives Robert Aubin and Jean-Denis Girard, and our business partners were on-site to officially break ground on the future Holiday Inn Express & Suites Trois-Rivières. The hotel’s construction will be overseen by Jonathan Robin, vice-president of Groupe Robin and Nellie Robin, president of Hotel M Inc.

Strategically located near the exit of Highway 55, the future four-storey, 111-room hotel will open in spring 2018. Among other things, guests will enjoy an indoor pool, fitness centre, breakfast room, Internet room in the lobby and three beautiful meeting rooms. The hotel will also offer complimentary hot breakfast, wireless high-speed Internet, local calls and daily and regional newspapers.

Since 2010, Groupe Robin has made a name for itself in the hotel sector with its buildings emphasizing sustainable development. Among others, the group built the first LEED-certified hotel in Canada, which opened in Saint-Hyacinthe in 2009. Another opened in 2015 in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Trois-Rivières will be a green hotel, with every detail designed with the aim of protecting the environment and preserving natural resources. Like its two LEED predecessors, the Trois-Rivières hotel will adhere to the concept of sustainable development and to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program, the benchmark for green buildings in North America.

Here are a few pictures of the future hotel!
